    Two of the largest pharmacy chains in the United States, CVS and Walgreens, have announced plans to make the abortion pill, mifepristone, available for sale across the country. This decision marks a significant shift in reproductive healthcare accessibility. Both CVS and Walgreens disclosed on Friday that they have obtained Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) certifications from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
